AQUATWIN "TAP WATER CLEANER"

The Aqua Twin offers a cost effective, low tech way to provide rapid improvements to mains tap water. As tap water varies from area to area, it is difficult to specify quality of produced water. However the Aqua Twin offers the benefits of GAC (Granular Activated Carbon) to remove chlorine, herbicides, pesticides, insecticides and organic chemicals. This reduction takes place during the contact time gained with the media whilst the water passes through the media bed. The water flow contiues to a de-ioniser resin for the reduction then of dissolved metals, nitrates, scale forming minerals and other dissolved contaminants. Actual performance of this resin is purely dependent on feed water quality and flow rate. Slow flow will ensure greater contact time and hence greater contaminant removal. Life expectancy of the de-ioniser MEDIA is around 250-400 litres. The GAC media can be expected to be active for some 2500-3000 litres.

Both the media's are easily exchanged. Close off, then remove from water supply, open the sump locking rings and dispose of the media carefully. Fresh packs of media are available in either 1/2 Ltr or 1 Ltr replacement packs. Half a litre of media should be used to refill relevant filter sumps. Upon re-assembly your system is then prepared for use again.
